Description:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Ensure the stability and scalability of the technology infrastructure. Oversee the deployment and maintenance of servers, databases, and other critical IT infrastructure components.
- Implement and monitor measures to ensure high system reliability and availability.
- Develop and enforce service-level agreements (SLAs) to meet business requirements.
- Lead incident response efforts and work closely with technical teams to resolve issues promptly. Implement incident management processes and procedures to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the security operations team and support security operations/Incidence response
- Manage Internal and external vendors providing technology solutions to fulfil E2E solution for EITC FS.
- Conduct capacity planning to ensure that technology resources meet current and future business needs.
- Anticipate and address potential bottlenecks or performance issues.
- Defining and Improving Operational processes and procedures in the area of IT Service management
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement best practices and adopt emerging technologies to stay competitive in the Fintech space.
- Build and lead a high-performing technology operation team
- Work closely with other departments such as customer support, product development, and finance to align technology operations with overall business objectives.
- Develop and maintain a robust disaster recovery plan to minimize the impact of unforeseen events on technology operations.
- Monitor system performance and KPI reports; identify areas for improvement to optimize efficiency.
- Document operational procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
- Apply ITIL principles and best practices to streamline IT operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Assist in implementing security measures and best practices to safeguard systems and data.
- Managing Non-production environments (development, testing, and staging environments) to support the software development lifecycle.
- Contribute to security audits, support vulnerability scans, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Experience:
- 5 year experience in technology operations and support
Skills
- Understanding of ITIL processes, including incident management, change management, problem management, and service level management.
- Deep understanding of server architecture, networking, databases, and cloud computing.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Understanding of vendor selection, contract negotiation, and relationship management.
- Knowledge of third-party technology solutions relevant to financial services.
- Knowledge of capacity planning methodologies to ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Understanding of scalability considerations for Fintech platforms.
- Understanding of disaster recovery principles and practices.
- Understanding of financial technology trends, innovations, and regulatory landscape.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and system administration tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment and to collaborate with cross-functional teams, articulate ITIL concepts, and facilitate the adoption of ITIL practices across the organization.
