The Archivist plays a critical role in our organization, responsible for product marketing efforts and technical documentation. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality, comprehensibility, and effective positioning of our products in the market.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Engineering, or related field) or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and terminology.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with a focus on clarity and precision.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a Documentation Specialist, Technical Writer, or Product Marketing Specialist.
  • Experience with document management tools, AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign, and Illustrator.
  • Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.
  • Knowledge of SEO/SEM and content marketing strategies.
  • Previous experience in material handling industry.
  • Experience in organizing and executing successful product launches.

Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze customer feedback and market data to iterate on product messaging and marketing strategy.
    Create, edit, and maintain technical documents such as product manuals, guides, and specifications.
  2. Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and updates.
  3. Collaborate with the Marketing department to develop online marketing campaigns to drive product awareness and demand.
  4. Provide Business Development and integrators with tools and training for effective product selling.
    Develop sales presentations, training materials, and competitive intelligence.
  5. Plan and execute product launch events, webinars, and promotional activities to generate excitement around product releases.
  6. Analyze customer feedback and market data to iterate on product messaging and marketing strategy.
  7. Monitor and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, providing regular reports and insights to leadership.
  8. Create, edit, and maintain technical documents such as product manuals, guides, and specifications.
  9. Collaborate with New Product Development and Engineering teams to gather technical information and insights.
  10. Develop and update user manuals, troubleshooting guides, and FAQs to assist customers in product usage.
  11. Ensure product support documentation aligns with product updates and enhancements.
  12. Implement and manage change control processes for technical documents to track revisions accurately.
  13. Ensure relevant departments are informed of document changes.
  14. Review technical documentation for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry standards.
  15. Work with subject matter experts to validate technical content.
  16. Work closely with R&D, Engineering, Marketing, and Business Development teams to ensure accurate and consistent technical documentation and effective product marketing strategies.
  17. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  18. Identify opportunities to enhance the quality and usability of technical documentation and marketing strategies.
