Technology Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated individual to enhance our client’s technology risk governance framework and provide expert guidance on risk management, control, and regulatory compliance within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with regulators, auditors, and internal risk and compliance teams to effectively manage current, new, and emerging technology risks by assessing the efficacy of mitigating controls.
• Conduct thorough reviews of IT Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to identify potential areas of concern and ensure proactive risk management.
• Provide proactive consultancy and advisory services on technology risk, offering strategic insights to mitigate potential threats.
• Foster alignment between the Technology, Infrastructure, and Information Systems Application teams, representing the perspective of risk management in internal discussions and developments.

Requirements:

• A strong educational background with a degree in IT/Computing, accompanied by a minimum of 5 years’ experience in technology governance-related roles such as IT Security, IT Audit, Technology Risk/Compliance.
• Previous experience in regulatory compliance is highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively manage stakeholders, fostering productive relationships across departments and teams.

~$90,000 - $110,000 + competitive bonus
