Description:

Frontier Cooperative is hiring for an entry-level Technology Support Specialist to join our Digital Transformation Team.
The Technology Support Specialist will be responsible for assisting the technology needs of the grain, energy, nutrition, and agronomy departments. This includes promoting, supporting, and advancing Frontier’s business plan through education, maintenance, and support of technology systems. The Technology Support Specialist will also be responsible for supporting services that provide automation, including seed treaters, blenders, rail loadout systems, accounting processes, and other technical systems, while communicating with all necessary stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of the agricultural industry and the technology needs of the grain, energy, nutrition, and agronomy departments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and team members.
  • Using communication skills to ask questions and understand processes from the perspective of all process participants.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Technical expertise in supporting automation services, including seed treaters, blenders, rail loadout systems, accounting processes, and communication.
  • An understanding of accounting systems such as Agris is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in establishing strategic goals for continual improvement, increased efficiency, and the overall effectiveness of the Digital Transformation Team.
  • Provide technical support for automated systems, including seed treaters, blenders, rail loadout systems, accounting processes, and other technical systems.
  • Act as the primary support for Frontier Connect, ensuring smooth operation and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Train Frontier employees on new and existing technology systems.
  • Working with the Digital Transformation team to evaluate current processes and recommend opportunities for increased efficiency using technology.
