Job Description

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS in youth related field (Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education) or business/ operational management or youth related programs
  • Non-profit experience

Essential Functions

  • Drive superior program quality, ensure all programs enhance membership, increase program enrollments, and enhance the member/participant experience.
  • Direct oversight of funding that directly supports Association teen programs
  • Collaborate with department leads, provides a focus on an integrated, innovated strategy that moves participants through a pipeline of programs for Early Learning, Play Center, Afterschool, Day Camp and Teens that aligns with Y Strategic Plan.
  • Provide direct leadership of the management, implementation, and accountability of Association program grants and funding that supports teen programs.
  • Ensure quality and accountability of teen programs to meet Youth Development and YMCA Youth and Safety requirements and trainings.
  • Co-Lead the Youth Development Cabinet to define the program experience vision, program goals and strategies, and new innovated programming.
  • Provide leadership and support to improving and enriching signature teen program offerings via ongoing quality improvements and innovations for Association.
  • In partnership with Social Impact team, develop and sustain community partnerships and relationships for teen programs including management of RFP process and selection for partnerships.
  • Represent and serve on community organization committees.
  • Develop, manage, and sustain association MOUs for teen programs.
  • Analyzes program enrollment and revenue to ensure the success of programs and develop and execute plan if there is a deficit.
  • Coordinate Association marketing for teen programs with Communications Department.
  • Lead the branch financial development initiatives to include serving as staff liaison with board committees, community groups or other task forces as assigned.
  • Actively participates in association Financial Development Cabinet and serves as the primary interface with the association Financial Development team.
  • Uphold YMCA policies for safety, supervision, mandated reporter, and risk management.
