Our client, a prominent leader in the telecommunications industry, is searching for a talented and experienced Telco Operations Engineer to enhance their operational team. The Telco Operations Engineer will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of telecommunications networks and systems. This role requires a strong educational background in telecommunications and practical experience in network operations and maintenance. The successful candidate will ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security of telecom infrastructure, supporting both routine operations and complex projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot telecommunications networks and systems to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Perform regular system checks, upgrades, and preventive maintenance to mitigate potential issues.
  • Respond to network incidents and outages, providing timely resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network expansion, upgrades, and other projects.
  • Implement and enforce network security protocols to protect against unauthorized access and vulnerabilities.
  • Document network configurations, procedures, and changes accurately for future reference and compliance.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
