What you’ll do
You will analyse and interpret client requirements and specifications in order to compile accurate engineering proposals that are technically and commercially sound. You will also be challenged with exciting projects and target dates whilst maintaining the highest quality standards. Moreover, you will represent the Viasat at client meetings and participate in business development activities.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Communications Engineering.
• Some experience in the telecommunications industry or engineering field. This would be typically around 2-3 years.
• Some knowledge of Radio communication systems, LAN & WAN technologies, PABX/VoIP systems, VSAT, PAGA, CCTV, ACS, IDS, and related systems in Energy industry applications.
  What will help you on the job
  We are looking for an experienced Bids and Proposals Engineer who equally enjoys working as part of a team as well as on own initiative, and are proficient in the use of Excel as this is daily used to drive this aspect of the business. Additionally, you have strong communication skills and are confident interacting with partners at different levels.
