TEMPORARY SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST (6-MONTH CONTRACT, RENEWABLE)

The Business Times Singapore’s premier business daily, The Business Times (BT) is looking for a creative, enterprising and digitally-savvy Social Media Specialist to join the team.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Familiarity with social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Telegram, LinkedIn and YouTube
• Proficient in Canva and Illustrator for social media graphic design
• Strong command of written and spoken English
• Interest in economics, business and finance topics
• Ability to work with audio editing tool Headliner and create short form video/reels is a plus
• Able to work 3-4 days a week

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Social Media Specialist will work with journalists and editors to amplify BT content on social media. You will curate, edit and customise content for respective platforms. Strong candidates who have proven themselves will have a chance to write and create fresh social media content specifically for social media.
