Our projects are diverse and include, geotechnical/civil engineering, QA/QC construction monitoring, drill monitoring, geo-
environmental monitoring, site investigations, foundation inspections, and soil and concrete lab

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Conduct Geotechnical laboratory testing on soils and aggregate like proctors, sieves,hydrometer, specific gravity, and Atterberg limits as well as compressive strength testingconcrete materials meeting the respective ASTM and CSA standards.
  • Enter laboratory sample tags and print the working sheets from our LIMS system.Input third-party laboratory results.
  • Submit results of soil sample; and concrete tests and deliver them to the Quality AssuranceSpecialist
  • Calibrate lab equipment (proctor machine, sieves, ovens, scales, and molds) and completepreventative maintenance of lab equipment when required.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and carry out assignments with minimal supervision.Physical demands include but are not limited to prolonged standing, repetitive movement,and lifting to 50 LBS.
  • Hourly pay for this role will be $23.00 to $28.00 per hour depending on work experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS, SCHEDULE, AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Legally authorized to work in Canada on an ongoing basis.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Working outdoors in all types of weather
  • Successfully perform a Fit for Work test
  • Complete a drug and alcohol test.
