We are looking for a Tenancy and Facilities Officer for a Not for Profit organisation based in Berimah.Your new role
The Tenancy and Facilities Officer is responsible for providing property and facilities solutions and tenancy management in a specific housing portfolio for the program to meet its objectives. This position has a particular focus on administration support for this client’s tenants are provided with the support they require to manage their tenancies; and will also help ensure the operations of tenant and housing services are efficient and effective to sustain a successful tenancy. This role works with a range of internal and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities
- Processing of tenancy applications
- Property Inspections
- Management of Tenant Queries and Matters
- Property & Facilities Division Administration Tasks
- Safeguarding Children
What you’ll need to succeed
- You must be an Australian citizen or have unlimited work rights within Australia.
- This position is subject to a satisfactory criminal history check that must demonstrate that you have not had inappropriate dealings with children or been charged or convicted of a domestic violence offence.
- Valid NT Driving Licence and Ochre Card.
- This position requires you to apply for a Working with Children Clearance/Ochre Card prior to your employment commencement date and send us receipt of payment. This will be at your own cost.
- If you have resided in an overseas country for 12 months or more in the past 10 years, this position requires you to complete an International Criminal History check (ICHC) prior to your employment commencement date. The outcome of the initial screening check must be satisfactory.
- Non-Smoking working environment.
- Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice - preferable but not essential.
- Experience in delivering tenant and property services or related fields - preferable.
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills include being able to connect and work with a broad range of tenants, support networks, internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated cultural competency, particularly in working with Indigenous people.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP and relevant business and project management tools.
- Proven ability to comply with operational policies and procedures, codes, and regulations.
- Good problem-solving, time management and attention to detail skills
