JOB DESCRIPTION - TENANCY SUSTAINABILITY OFFICER

Want to be part of this? We’re currently recruiting for a Tenancy Sustainability Officer to join our Tenancy Enforcement team.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO RAVEN:

For this role, we are looking for someone with the following:

  • Basic knowledge of housing legislation and experience working in a safeguarding environment.
  • The ability to assess a home environment and to work on your own initiative to manage and respond quickly to any change in circumstances.
  • Previous experience of participating in multi-agency working whilst maintaining empathy and compassion.
  • A full, clean driving licence.

DBS clearance will be required for this role.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL ACHIEVE IN THE ROLE:

The overall purpose of this role is to deliver an individual, tailored service to vulnerable customers to support them in maintaining a successful tenancy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking welfare checks for customers where a concern has been raised by Raven colleagues, neighbours, or third parties.
  • To provide advice, guidance, and support to customers facing difficulties in maintaining their tenancies due to disabilities, vulnerabilities, or other social factors.
  • Working with external support services and/or voluntary agencies, local authorities, and other statutory partners.
  • To assess each customer’s needs and develop a mutually agreed sustainability plan that identifies key areas where the customer may require support.
