As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our Group Sales team as a Tender & Bids Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

As a Tender & Bids Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, managing, and securing significant tender and bid opportunities for Kennards Hire. You will be responsible for developing competitive submissions aligned with approved pricing and commercial criteria, while ensuring adherence to company standards. Additionally, you will provide administrative support to the sales team, contributing to the acquisition and retention of business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the creation, updating, and organisation of tender and contract documents.
  • Monitor national tender releases and statuses, and share relevant notifications with internal stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance to the business on tender and bid management best practices.
  • Ensure marketing collateral is up to date to support tender submissions.
  • Act as an internal subject matter expert for all tender and bid related inquiries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise opportunities with a unified approach to tenders and contracts.
  • Collect market pricing data to support internal pricing strategies.
  • Provide sales intelligence and pipeline status updates to key stakeholders.
  • Continuously evaluate sales administrative processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Proactively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to foster greater business engagement.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of safety and contract needs specific to sites or tenders.
  • Collect customer feedback to enhance tender and bid submissions.
  • Use customer insights to refine processes and drive growth.
  • Provide quarterly status reports to key stakeholders on submission results.
