We are looking for a motivated, competitive and Bilingual Territory Manager to develop sales strategies and attract new clients. Here you will make an impact by:
- Managing the Eastern Canada territory (Part of Quebec and Atlantic provinces) to drive and support growth with Neogen Food Safety Products.
- Implementing and executing on business priorities
- Deliver on financial and forecast expectations
- Conduct business planning to drive growth with direct, indirect (channel), Key Accounts and focused market segments
- Develop sales strategies and adjust to meet changing market and competitive conditions for complex product lines and working cross functionally with other business disciplines
The successful salesperson will identify new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve quotas. They will play a key role in increasing revenue by managing and negotiating with customers, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and managing sales of products and services.
Other Essential Duties and Responsibilities include.
- Independently manage and grow business within a set geography
- Close and grow sales through professional communication with existing and potential clients
- Identify and resolve client concerns; recommending a course of action to alleviate these concerns in the future
- Expand market awareness of our products and our industry experience by communicating features and benefits of our products and services effectively
- Maintaining records of customer communications and contact information as required
- Making technical presentations, webinars
- Preparing responses to RFP (request for proposals) and RFI (request for information)
- Attending and participating in trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
- Researches market requirements and market data
- Maintain knowledge of competitor products and identify and report intelligence on competitor pricing or marketing strategies
- Maintains current Neogen product knowledge
- Demonstrate and explain best practices in installation techniques for all Neogen products
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology, Science or Sales is preferred
- Successful history of time and territory management
- Successful sales performance and territory track record or meeting / exceeding forecast
- Attention to detail, critical thinking,
- Experience using Sales Force.com or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
- Experience with “Solution Selling” methodologies
- Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office
Language requirement: Fluency in French and English is required.
Travel: May include up to 75% Domestic Travel

- Effectuer une planification commerciale pour stimuler la croissance avec les comptes directs, indirects (distribution), et les segments de marché ciblés
- Développer des stratégies de vente et s’adapter à l’évolution du marché et aux conditions concurrentielles pour des gammes de produits complexes et travailler de manière interfonctionnelle avec d’autres disciplines commerciales.
Le candidat retenu identifiera de nouvelles opportunités de vente et conclura des ventes pour atteindre les objectifs. Il jouera un rôle clé dans l’augmentation des revenus en gérant et en négociant avec les clients, en générant des prospects, en qualifiant les prospects et en gérant les ventes de produits et de services.
Les autres tâches et responsabilités essentielles comprennent:
- Conclure et augmenter les ventes grâce à une communication professionnelle avec les clients existants et potentiels
- Identifier et résoudre les préoccupations des clients ; recommander un plan d’action pour atténuer ces préoccupations.
- Accroître la notoriété de nos portfolios et de notre expérience du secteur sur le marché en communiquant efficacement les caractéristiques et les avantages de nos produits et services.

- Assister et participer à des salons professionnels, conférences et autres événements marketing
- Recherche les exigences du marché et les données du marché
- Maintenir la connaissance des produits concurrents et identifier et rapporter des renseignements sur les stratégies de prix ou de marketing des concurrents
- Maintenir ses connaissances sur les produits Neogen
- Démontrer et expliquer les meilleures pratiques en matière de techniques d’installation pour tous les produits Neogen
Les qualifications supplémentaires qui pourraient vous aider à réussir encore plus dans ce rôle comprennent :
- Un baccalauréat en sciences en microbiologie, en sciences ou en ventes est préférable
- Réussite antéririeur de la gestion du temps et du territoire
- Performances commerciales réussies et historique du territoire ou atteinte/dépassement des prévisions
- Souci du détail, esprit critique,
- Expérience de l’utilisation de Sales Force.com ou d’un autre logiciel de gestion de la relation client (CRM)
- Expérience avec les méthodologies « Solution Selling »
- Solides compétences informatiques et expérience avec Microsoft Office
Exigence linguistique : Une maitrise du Français et de l’Anglais est requise.
Voyage : peut inclure jusqu’à 75 % de voyages intérieurs
