Description:

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION

This role is responsible for maximizing sales volume and market share of designated products within an assigned territory.

MINIMUM EDUCATION

  • Tertiary qualifications in Medical (eg. Bachelor of Science) or related field (Coronary Care Nursing/Cardiac Technician) or Business area is essential.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Ability to convincingly discuss product range with customers, as well as internal and external experts
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills.
  • Good technical / clinical/ scientific knowledge
  • Experience using Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities:

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To achieve EP certification by undertaking and completing a thorough in-house training program to allow you to attend and support EP sessions independently.
  • To achieve 3D mapping certification by undertaking and completing a thorough in-house training program to allow you to support 3D mapping cases independently.
  • Achieve sales targets and increase market share for your assigned territory through building strong relationships and providing high quality clinical service and support.
  • Develop strong relationships with key customers that will assist in growing your business and market share to achieve sales targets.
  • Develop relationships with and service key customer groups, identify and utilise key customer networks.
  • Actively implement and execute on sales force effectiveness initiatives to help drive business growth and sales skills development including strategic territory and account planning, customer profiles and sales training.
  • Utilise available sales analysis tools to assist in territory planning.
  • Utilise internal resources to assist servicing customers within your territory.
  • Manage allocated consignment stock.
  • Maintain accurate customer profiles.
  • Maintain up to date product knowledge and actively participate in education programs.
  • Assist with product marketing and launches.
  • Provide market feedback on product and competitor activity.
  • Attend to/comply with customer service and other administrative requirements within the required timeframe.
  • Conduct education/training to hospital staff on products and technology.
  • Provide training, support and mentorship to internal staff and colleagues.
  • Attend company sales meetings and customer events as required.

QUALITY, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attend regular departmental meetings with manager/supervisor to build in continuous feedback mechanisms.
  • Meet the requirements of ISO by complying with all relevant Quality policies and procedures to ensure the Quality objectives of the business are met.
  • Comply with all relevant company Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and work practices with the intent of preventing or minimizing accidental exposures to self, colleagues and/or the environment.
