We’re looking for a self-motivated, results driven individual to join our commercial team in the UK. This Territory Sales Manager will be working with our Ear Nose Throat (ENT) customers across the South East and London.
What will you be doing?
Promoting the ENT Business Unit’s product range within defined key accounts, so that agreed sales targets and objectives are achieved and to provide the customers on the territory with a high standard of technical support while exploring new business opportunities for profitable, long term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Profitably selling the Business Units product portfolio so that the product group and overall territory sales targets are achieved. Identifying new opportunities for ENT portfolio and ensuring your customers are given a first class service.
  • Acquiring and maintaining knowledge of the territory, including information on current customers, business potential, purchasing protocols, competitor activity and market trends.
  • Reporting monthly on sales activity, business prospects and competitor activity to stay ahead of changes in your marketplace.
  • Management of the Company’s assets within the territory to ensure, a profitable return on investment.
  • Provide technical advice and training to customers on Smith & Nephew ENT products to ensure high levels of user competence etc. (15%)

Requirements

  • Ideally educated to degree level in a scientific field or have relevant work experience
  • Experience in a medical technology company, selling in a complex, high growth business area
  • Experience of working in theatres will be looked upon favourably.
  • Happy to travel domestically across your patch (circa 75% of your week)
  • Full driving license
