MINIMUM (ESSENTIAL) REQUIREMENTS

  • Broad and deep HCM functional implementation, post-go-live, ESG, Adaptive, Extend and Product testing tools
  • Business Development or Sales Leader in a HR or Consulting organisation
  • Extensive experience within an implementation environment and growing new regions
  • Considerable project management experience within Workday
  • Strong Project delivery skills
  • Sale of initial and follow-on consulting & implementation services
  • Developing and maintaining customer relationships
  • Supporting growth of Kainos and its culture

Responsibilities:

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE BUSINESS:

As a Territory Vice President- APAC at Kainos, you will be accountable for sales, proposition development, customer relationships, overseeing project delivery and the Customer/Partnership relationships.
This role sits within the Workday BU leadership team with accountability for sales performance, customer relationships, overseeing project delivery and Workday relationship within APAC.
The Territory Vice President will be based in Melbourne and will lead sales and customer engagement teams to deliver the Sales Order Value and Customer Initiatives set out in the business plan. The Territory Vice President and their team will work closely with the BU Chief Operating Officer to accurately forecast demand, increase margin, develop propositions, and manage customer escalations.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Sales Order Value (SOV) – you will be accountable for delivery of the Sales Order Value in the region/sector and supporting pipeline. You will work with the Operations team to accurately forecast sales and develop clear closure plans. You will also work to maximise sales where appropriate.
  • Local Customer/Partnership Relationship - Accountable for the management of the local Workday relationship to ensure Kainos is recognised as the leading boutique partner in the region. Will develop joint go to market strategies and plan combined quarterly business reviews.
  • Local /Sector Market Activity - work with the BU marketing team to develop a marketing strategy and plan for the region/sector to support delivery of the Sales Order Value, Kainos brand objectives and build of the Workday / key sector relationship/s.
  • Proposition Development - responsible for working with the engagement, Practice Leads and capability leads, delivery and technical leads to develop competitive propositions for the local market/sector. You will also be accountable for agreeing on rates for the local market/sector with Chief Operating Officer. You will own competitive intelligence and strategies to address Kainos shortcomings.
  • Local /Sector Customer Base - accountable for the relationship with new and existing customers. Works with engagement/delivery teams during delivery to manage customer expectations and satisfaction. Works with the Account Leads/ Head of Customer Success post Phase One delivery to build long-term and high-value relationships.
  • Project Delivery – you will be accountable for overseeing all project delivery in the region/sector. You will work with Client / Business Development Directors, Engagement/Delivery Managers, and central operations to ensure customer success. You will be the senior point of escalation for customers in the region/sector and will ultimately be accountable for project delivery to agreed margins.
  • Management of local/sector Business Development and Engagement /Delivery teams – you will be accountable for management and development of local sales / engagement teams (Client Director(s), Account Manager(s)). You will work with Operations and the Capabilities to develop these individuals.
  • Local Office/Sector Management - where appropriate, the regional/sector director will have operational responsibility for the local office. This involves working with the Operations teams to deal with property, finance, legal and people issues.
