Description:

TEST ANALYST

  • Long-term project with potential extension beyond the end of the financial year.

  • Pay Rate:-Pay Rate: $510 /day + Super.
    DFP Recruitment is urgently seeking a Test Analyst with one of our state government clients. Our client a leading provider of vocational education and training in Australia and their goal is to enhance students experience.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Define and document acceptance criteria for testing using various methodologies derived from the testing requirements, such as Waterfall, Agile and hybrid approaches, in order to ensure effective system assessments.
  • Prepare test estimates, based on analysis of the test requirements, as required by project managers, in order to ensure effective testing protocols and smooth system usage.
  • Develop test plans for various test phases, based on available project documentation, including system testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing and production verification testing, to confirm products are ready for usage.
  • Analyse and prepare test data as required for test examination to ensure products are fully usable and acceptable for release.
  • In conjunction with the Quality Assurance Manager, establish best practice policies, processes, templates and tools to ensure system products meet high quality standards when released into the NSW environment.
  • Produce testing options and solutions that ensure the effective performance of Systems Group systems and products to the intended NSW operating environment.
  • Reflect NSW’s values in the way you work and abide by policies and procedures to ensure a safe, healthy and inclusive work environment.
  • Place the customer at the centre of all decision making.
  • Work with the Line Manager to develop and review meaningful performance management and development plans.
  • Developing and maintaining currency of understanding of the organisations range of applications and impact of new developments.
  • Being responsive to traditional and agile testing activities.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma, Advanced Diploma or associate degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
  • Extensive experience in a Systems Group Tester role.
  • Demonstrated experience working as part of a Systems Group project delivery team performing activities to strict deadlines.
  • Ability to address and meet focus capabilities as stated in the position description.
