Responsibilities:

ROLE PURPOSE

The Test Analyst is responsible for testing software updates and enhancements to applications that are used by Marks & Clerk, working with development teams, project managers, end users and other groups to ensure some or all criteria of testing are fulfilled before system changes “go live”.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in testing of business applications including Inprotech, DMS and Portal
  • Test changes to application software, letter content and Inprotech rules/configuration changes
  • Prepare, assist and maintain test plans and test scripts
  • Ensure work is carried out and prioritised in accordance with the schedule
  • Ensure Testing issue logs are updated accurately with relevant information
  • Identify any risks to work undertaken and report them to their line manager
  • Demonstrate issues accurately to development/build teams
  • Work with users to gather test requirements and to establish an understanding of relevant processes
  • Liaise and provide feedback to development/build teams, project managers, suppliers and other stakeholders
