WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Test Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of software products. You will be responsible for preparing, writing and executing relevant test scripts that map back to pre-determined criteria. Your role will involve developing, reviewing and maintaining comprehensive test documentation. You will identify, document and manage defects through to resolution. Your expertise will be utilised in performing end-to-end testing of component applications. You will also manage user-based testing while working closely with the Test Manager and Product Owner.

• Prepare, write and execute relevant test scripts mapping back to pre-determined criteria
• Develop, review and maintain test documentation including test plans, scripts and test summary reports
• Identify, document and manage defects through to resolution
• Perform end-to-end testing of component applications, encompassing front-end UI, REST API validation utilizing Postman, ensuring data integrity within AWS buckets, dashboard testing, integration testing
• Manage and co-ordinate UAT or other user based testing
• Work closely with the Test Manager and Product Owner

The ideal candidate for this Test Analyst role brings around five years of experience in testing and quality assurance. You have completed a degree with a significant computing component or possess an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. Your understanding of testing methodologies and strategies, with a specific focus on Agile, sets you apart. You have strong experience in software integration testing and are comfortable working with REST and SOAP APIs, as well as web service testing tools such as SoapUI and Postman. Your experience in AWS environment testing is highly valued, as is your knowledge of HTTP and common message formats such as XML and JSON. A thorough understanding of Test Management tools and Service Now is also required.

• Around 5 years of work experience in testing and quality assurance
