About you
As our, Test Analyst, you will play a key role in the Project team or Application team by ensuring a quality product is delivered to our stakeholders and sponsors. You will also build application and integration knowledge of both our applications and our domains. You possess the following:
Tertiary qualification in a technology or relevant discipline
Proven experience as a Manual tester and working in a project team.
Demonstrate a broad understanding and experience in defining testing methodologies and creating test plans/strategies including documentation.
Knowledge of defect management systems (e.g. Azure DevOps or similar) and ability to pick up new tools if needed.
Rest API testing on POSTMAN or similar.
About the opportunity
Reporting to the Lead Test Analyst, you are required to perform various test activities including manual testing and managing automation scripts, regression testing, support business or UAT testing and reporting on test statistics and progress. Some additional key responsibilities include:
Understand the holistic project objectives, the project testing scope, business requirements, and the context of the development.
Ability to perform test planning activities including analysis of Business Requirements and key success criteria, and creation of Test Plans, Test Scenarios and Test Cases. This will include negative testing.
Demonstrated ability to formulate end 2 end regression test plans for production IT asset upgrades and execute against these plans.
Participate and contribute in agile/waterfall project planning activities, eg scrum ceremonies
Ability to design/develop and maintain detailed, well-structured manual test cases and execute them.
