Description:
Position Title: Test Development Coordinator (Pre-testing)
Department: ELL, Test Development
Reports To: Senior Manager, Test Publishing
Purpose of this Position
The role primarily involves co-ordinating field testing, seeding or other approaches to the pre-testing of test items. The post holder works with Publishing Managers and Test Development Analysts/Statisticians supporting item pre-testing. The role encompasses the organisation of field tests and seeding, ensuring appropriate data collection, implementation of new approaches to pre-testing, financial planning and any other project related work.
Key Responsibilities
Co-ordinate pre-testing of seed items including field testing, seeding and other approaches to pre-testing
Co-ordinate pre-testing data collection to ensure item and test data is available for calibration
Ensure data is stored in appropriate formats to ensure ease of analysis and appropriate security
Be responsible for high quality coordination activities, delivered efficiently on time and on budget
Tracking, reporting and control of key deliverables
Co-ordinating with various teams to construct product roadmaps, project plans, and individual product development plans, ensuring their effective incorporation into the overall delivery plan and managing interdependencies
Pro-active risk and issues management: owning and maintaining a risk, assigning risk owners and ensuring sufficient visibility of risks to the business
Conducting regular checkpoint meetings with delivery stream owners
Financial planning and tracking
Assist psychometric staff in producing item statistics and/or any regular quality control analysis
Reporting on pre-test form performance, cohort performance, and performance in relation to geographic distribution
Contributing to customer support by providing colleagues with relevant data
Communicating effectively and sensitively with colleagues and customers around the world, from a variety of cultures
