REQUIREMENTS

• Writing automated tests in a CI/CD pipeline
• Front end React testing (Cypress / Playwright)

EXPERIENCE

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or similar work based experience.
• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer ideally with a focus on media-related projects.
• Very good working knowledge of standard software development frameworks, techniques and methodologies.
• Experience with providing coaching and mentoring
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team, contributing to the development of business scenarios.
• Knowledge of software development tools and technologies.
• You are flexible and curious in your approach
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Test Engineer, you will be working alongside a team of Developers that are decommissioning a legacy, multi-function, multi-tenant, in-house business-facing software solution. The primary focus of this role will be to assist in testing and validating the integration of this functionality into alternative systems, enabling us to gradually phase out the deprecated components.
You will join a mature, multi-disciplinary, agile software development team, collaborating closely with team members and sharing knowledge and tasks daily. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring a smooth transition from the legacy system to modern platforms, maintaining the high standards of performance and reliability expected by our users.
