Test Engineer

Despro Engineering Oy is seeking a Test Engineer to join our Power Engineering team.
You’ll have the opportunity to make an impact on socially significant green transition projects that will shape our industry for the long term. With our expertise, we are building renewable energy and ensuring the functionality of critical infrastructure.
Power Engineering team runs consultancy projects involving power system design and analysis, and grid code compliance across Finland and Northern Europe. We offer services encompassing grid code compliance studies and validation, power system analysis, advanced modeling and simulations, as well as on-site measurements.
As Test Engineer you will take part in grid code compliance verification projects. Tasks include planning, coordinating and reporting power plants testing according to grid code requirements. Depending on your experience and wishes you will also take part in power systems design, calculations, grid code compliance simulations, or project management.

We hope you have:

• Appropriate technical degree (BSc, MSc)
• Experience in grid code requirements and power systems
• Experience in coordinating testing for power plants or power system equipment, and test reporting
• Skills in Python and data processing will be considered a merit
• Fluency in MS Office tools, especially excel
• Professional proficiency in English and Finnish
• Team player’s playbook with seamless collaboration skills internally and externally, focusing on customer satisfaction and delivering expert and agile services

This role offers the flexibility to work from our office locations across Finland or remotely.
