SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Completed engineering degree (FH/BA/DH) in electronics, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering, or alternatively, a qualified technician with relevant professional experience and knowledge.
• Experience with pneumatic components and mechatronic systems.
• Proficiency in measurement and control technology.
• In-depth knowledge of electronic measurement data acquisition, data preparation, and evaluation.
• Familiarity with experimental methodology, statistical methods, and analysis techniques.
• Proficient in CAN bus (Vector CANalyzer).
• Initial experience with EMC standards and specific tests.
• Basic experience with Matlab and Simulink, as well as programming in C and C++.
• High degree of initiative, flexibility, and resilience.
• Good written and spoken English skills.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Are you passionate about testing and validating cutting-edge technologies in the automotive industry? We are seeking a dynamic individual to enhance our Testing Center team in Fellbach.
As a Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and performance of our components, pneumatic systems, and mechatronic solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct comprehensive tests on components, pneumatic systems, and mechatronic systems within the realms of product development and validation, with a primary focus on vehicle technology.
• Plan and organise test scopes, procedures, dates, and resources, aligning with relevant specifications and customer requirements.
• Verify requirements from internal and customer specifications.
• Actively participate in product development processes.
• Coordinate testing plans and validation programs with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate in the creation of requirements and functional specifications.
• Present test results to the development team and customers.
• Act as a liaison for internal departments, external locations, customers, and coordinate validation-related activities with external service providers.
