JOB DESCRIPTION

Test Engineer Duties:

  • Coordinate with software developers and QA engineers to develop, implement and maintain automation frameworks
  • Design, develop, implement and maintain test automation, for software written in various programming languages.
  • Design and develop manual testing to test product features.
  • Analyze software functional/technical specifications, and develop test plans.
  • Create and maintain test logs, test reports, and test data.
  • Develop new automated test capabilities
  • Update and maintain test plans and test documentation
  • Track issue resolution and defect reports, and document lessons learned
  • Perform regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing, including both automated and manual testing as required.
  • Work with development teams

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

Experience:

  • Proven experience working within Agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in implementing automation, with preferably 2-3 years of hands-on experience using Robot Framework or other automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language, with a preference for Python (considered as an advantage).
  • Familiarity with JavaScript test scripting is advantageous.

We will provide training on using Barrett radio systems, there is no expectation that the successful candidate will have any radio operation experience.
