TEST EVIDENCE TRANSITION ENGAGEMENT INTERN – SOCIAL & BEHAVIOURAL RESEARCH (SBR) TEAM

Full-time annual salary : £13.15 per hour (£23,933 full time yearly equivalent)
Contract Length: 24 weeks (1 July – 13 Dec)
Hours: 7 hours per day, 4-5 days per week

Location: Hybrid: Stratford, London for 1-2 days per week and working from home the rest of the time (any home working needs to be in the UK) OR home based

THE TEST POSES REAL LIFE SCENARIOS THAT A CRUK INTERN MIGHT BE MET WITH IN THEIR DAY TO DAY ROLE AND ASKS HOW YOU WOULD TACKLE THAT SCENARIO. THIS IS UN-TIMED AND MULTIPLE CHOICE. Stage 3: Audio Submission

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contribute to the production of summary reports, analyses and presentations monitoring the evaluation and impact of the TET programme
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create engaging programme workshops and events involving project partners and key stakeholders
  • Contribute to summaries, reports and briefings (such as web pages, newsletters, etc) to support all TET communications
  • Maximise internal CRUK communication channels including ‘Hit the Floor’ and the PIC ‘Lunch and Learn’ events etc., to raise the profile of the TET programme
  • Keep up to date with the overall TET portfolio to understand the successes and challenges, being confident to articulate these with internal colleagues across SBR and with external partners
  • Supporting the organisation and development of resources for key stakeholder meetings

YOU’LL BE ABLE TO BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • Written, listening and verbal communication skills with an ability to flex communication style and narrative to suit a variety of audiences and settings
  • Interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain effective working relationships internally across PIC
  • Ability to prioritise effectively as well as project manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to simplify complex information and to develop a narrative and ‘tell a story’ with data and impact measurement in a way which is both engaging and informative
  • Understanding of the aims of the charity and the importance of internal and external collaboration
