SKILLS

Must have
Good experience in test management, with a strong understanding of testing principles and methodologies.
Automotive Experience
Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and its impact on testing activities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and resources.
Experience with test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, JIRA, TestRail).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Willing to sometimes work on Mon – Thu from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day on the test vehicles at the customer location. Domain Knowledge Knowledge in the Test Drives Domain Certificate: ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level

Planning and organization of all test activities for “nightly test drives”, including planning and creation of test orders for the specific test drives based on the specifications of the leading test manager
Control of all relevant information to the relevant interfaces such as project management, integration management, error management, steering test management, etc.
Coordination with the project management with regard to project-relevant specifications or, if necessary, changes to project-relevant specifications (e.g. functional experiences / function availability, etc.)
Organization and assurance of all necessary preconditions regarding the test resources in coordination with the integration management
Planning of testers and test resources for all test activities for “nightly test drives” in coordination with the integration management and the leading test manager, if necessary, also procurement of test resources in coordination with the integration management
Contact person for the product lines with regard to specific test orders and corresponding planning of these in the respective requested test period
Coordination with the relevant function managers regarding test selection on the basis of the specific test orders of the product lines, if necessary, the project plan and the release plan for the respective specific test period
Creation and updating of timelines regarding test activities and test planning
Control, monitoring and technical management of the test team with regard to test case execution with regard to all test activities for “nightly test drives”, based on applicable guidelines and in coordination with the leading test manager
Escalation of critical deviations and steering into the appropriate committees
Tracking of the results, as well as the defects and blockers of all test activities for “nightly test drives”, including ensuring completeness and availability
Participation in test drives if necessary, in coordination with the leading test manager
Regular reporting of all test activities for “nightly test drives”, results provided according to applicable guidelines
Participation in language and presentation appointments regarding the system test results with all stakeholders in coordination with the leading test manager
Perception of partial compulsory attendance in critical project phases
Perform lessons learned for the project scopes in the test team
Regular status reports and coordination with the leading test manager
Requests from external test instances, if required
Support in the creation, elaboration and adaptation of test strategies
