In order to support Flight Test Operations in Hamburg, Airbus is looking for 2-3
Test pilots are employed in all Airbus Commercial Aircraft Test Centres performing ground and flight test activities to develop, deliver and improve our aircraft, products and services. This is among the best and most engaging flying jobs available with global opportunities.
We are looking to identify capable and motivated team-players. Are you an experienced and technically minded pilot passionate about working in one of our flight test departments?
Excellent candidates who do not hold a test pilot qualification may be considered for training through our Airbus Flight Test School (AFTS) in cooperation with the prestigious French Test Pilots School, L’École du Personnel Navigant d’Essais et de Réception (EPNER), to achieve an EASA Flight Test Rating (Category 2).

As a specialist test pilot and operational expert within the company, you can expect:
To prepare and conduct ground and flight tests in support of aircraft production, delivery, product evolution and improvement, while acting as internal ?first customer’ to ensure product safety and quality.
To provide support to external services and campaigns.
To proactively identify and report product safety, certification and in-service issues.
To conduct specific additional duties within the Test Centre including, for example, planning, crew scheduling, safety management, and flight crew representation.
