JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The role of the Engine Test Software Engineer is to provide technical knowledge, oversight & support to all aspects of the engine testing operation such as day to day process improvements, test facility maintenance & troubleshooting through to new product introduction including correlation.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- This role requires advanced experience in Engineering/Software & Operations. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
Responsibilities:
- Principle point of contact for Test NPI & Correlation
- Expert focal for Test, Engineering & Wider GE Network Teams
- Production testing troubleshooting & problem solving
- Process improvement
- Test Enabling Hardware Inspection & Maintenance
- Test facility (Inc. data acquisition system) monitoring, improvement & problem solving
- Stage Sheet Production & Maintenance
