DESCRIPTION
At our Oevel site in Belgium, Cummins is developing innovative Fuel Cell and Electrolyzer technologies that can generate hydrogen for various applications with zero emissions - contributing to a safe and healthy environment for future generations.
We have a diverse team of engineers dedicated to the development of existing and future products for customers on a global scale. We are currently looking for a Test Coordinator lead all test related operations in Belgium. The role is within the Installation & Commissioning team and will report to the Commissioning Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning, coordination and organization of work related to testing of hydrogen electrolyzers in the test facility.
- Lead the day-to-day operations of a local team of test technicians.
- Execute end-of-line tests (IO testing, functional testing) for assembled hydrogen electrolyzers in the test facility.
- Closely monitor progress on project execution, evaluate test reports and results before handover of project for delivery to customers
- Make arrangements on time for projects entering test phase with respect to resources, tools/equipment and infrastructure
- Prioritize and resolve issues while developing procedures and methods by working with management, engineering, quality control and safety department.
- Implementing changes and continuously evaluating and optimizing internal processes
- Record keeping and ensure safety regulations and procedures are adhered to
- Steer the team to follow up and resolve punchlist items during and after finalizing the testing process
- Work in Shifts that will change weekly (early shift 6am-2pm will alternate with a late shift 1:30pm-9:30pm)
