Description:
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Powered Pallet Truck experience
- Electrical/Testing experience at delivering to plan right first time.
- Knowledge of pressurised systems and ISO Accredited systems
- FAT 1 and FAT 2
- Trained and competent in Fanuc controls
- Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety guidelines
- Experience of delivering to plan right first time
- Knowledge of 5S in the workplace
- Knowledge of competencies required in the allocated operational areas
- Experienced at managing workflow
- Experience of achieving targets

Responsibilities:
- Plan the department’s workload and report on progress.
- Allocate duties either directly or indirectly to your team and ensure all resource is effectively utilised.
- Supervision of the team, including authorising of holidays, managing your teams holidays in line with operational needs, monitoring of timekeeping and attendance, dealing with low-level disciplinary issues, reporting absences immediately to HR, conducting absence management welfare meetings under the direction and support of HR and completing reporting paperwork in a timely and efficient manner.
- Monitor performance and competency of your team, develop and coach, escalating as necessary, ensuring achievement of performance goals and KPIs.
- Recruitment of new team members to the agreed standards, ensuring new starter inductions are carried out and new starters are on boarded effectively.
- Mentor new trainees and review progress to training plan and provide any further assistance required.
- Define and prioritise individual training plans for the department, overseeing the training of identified competencies of Technicians.
- Take responsibility for all HR matters within the shift with the support of local production managers and HR.
- Monitor break times to ensure maximum productivity.
- Challenge staff who are not adhering to company policy.
- Liaise with key stakeholders and identify any risks.
- Adhere to ITM’s policies and procedures at all times.
- Conduct all activities to the Company’s Health and Safety policies and escalate any safety concerns found immediately.
- Ensure all HSE and wider company publications are shared (and signed where required) in a timely manner.
- Attend training courses when required.
- Work proactively in reviewing critical documents relating SQDCP and communicate any information to your team as it is required.
- Support the Supervisor when required in daily activities.
- Actively work to maintain and improve technical documentation in area alongside support functions including SOP’s, RA, quality control plans etc.
- To record test results and failure accurately, identifying faults and correct as required. These faults are to be logged and recorded. All changes will need to be tracked and auditable.
- Ensure all equipment is available and maintained including calibration and safety critical equipment.
- Ensure inspections and tests are carried out and signed off/logged to ITM’s expected standards.
- Ensure component traceability is maintained throughout.
- Create and review RAMS as required as well as other safety documentation.
- Use and work with logic flow diagrams, P & ID and any other information required.
- Ensure all equipment is available and maintained including calibration and safety critical equipment.
- Be the point of contact for any technical queries relating to process improvement documentation, R&D, machinery, tooling or people.
- Manage area calibration list and liaise with quality department on matter relating to calibration.
- Utilise the local production boards available during handovers to ensure effective communication between shifts.
