Epic Aircraft, based in beautiful Bend, Oregon, is the leading designer and manufacturer of high performance, all composite, six-seat single-engine turboprop aircraft. We’re seeking talented and creative individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in the aerospace and/or composite technology industries.
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the Test Technician/Engineer (Night Shift)will be to oversee, operate and monitor engineering test equipment which runs on a 24-hour cycle. This position will work in conjunction with and report to the Engineering department. The technician will also coordinate the hand off of night tasks to day shift operators. While monitoring testing equipment, the Technician will also fabricate electrical harness assemblies using various electrical handtools with accuracy and with minimal assistance.
Duties include:
- Operate and monitor engineering test equipment training is provided
- Assemble electrical harnesses and other components using production systems, assembly drawings and specifications
- Properly use Avionics hand tools and soldering equipment training is provided
- The technician will need to read and understand technical documentation and utilize a PC-based application to complete work
- Other tasks as assigned
