THE ROLE:

As a Test Technician you will be a part of our dynamic team and become an integral part of a leading company in the electrical industry. This role requires frequent travel to our branches in North Island. You will also be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough and accurate testing of electrical installations, appliances, and equipment to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards
• Performing inspections, fault finding, and troubleshooting to identify potential hazards or issues
• Generate reports detailing test results, recommendations, and any necessary repairs or improvements
• Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and colleagues to provide exceptional service and support

To be successful in this role, you will have some or all below:

• Strong knowledge of electrical regulations, codes, and safety practices
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.
• Good problem-solving skill
• The ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to learn new skills
• Effective communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with internal clients and colleagues
• Clean full New Zealand driving license class 1
• EWRB Registered Electrician certification with current New Zealand registration and practicing license would be an advantage
• Have minimum of 2 years of post-registration experience in testing and inspection will be beneficia
