Description:

SICE ANZ is currently seeking a Testing and Commissioning Engineer to join our team based in Sydney. The position will work across cross-functional teams and oversee planning and coordination of testing activities for assigned subsystems within set testing phases.

Duties involve:

  • Preparation and execution of the nominated test cases.
  • Working closely with Graphical User Interfaces (GUI)
  • Uploading defects on the defect management system.
  • Working with stakeholders in order to obtain the expected result.
  • Assisting the development & design teams with defect resolution.
  • Supervise the completion of defect resolution and generate weekly reports.
  • Review of testing documentation such as reports, evidence and/or test cases.
  • Supervision of internal testing progress.

REQUIREMENTS

The preferred candidate will bring the following:

  • Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of Software discipline OR equivalent experience (essential).
  • Experience working graphical user interfaces (GUI) (highly desirable)
  • Experience in software testing and commissioning roles.
  • PLC/SCADA system architecture knowledge
  • Understanding of software development life-cycle methodologies.
  • Professional proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
