Description:
SICE ANZ is currently seeking a Testing and Commissioning Engineer to join our team based in Sydney. The position will work across cross-functional teams and oversee planning and coordination of testing activities for assigned subsystems within set testing phases.
Duties involve:
- Preparation and execution of the nominated test cases.
- Working closely with Graphical User Interfaces (GUI)
- Uploading defects on the defect management system.
- Working with stakeholders in order to obtain the expected result.
- Assisting the development & design teams with defect resolution.
- Supervise the completion of defect resolution and generate weekly reports.
- Review of testing documentation such as reports, evidence and/or test cases.
- Supervision of internal testing progress.
REQUIREMENTS
The preferred candidate will bring the following:
- Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of Software discipline OR equivalent experience (essential).
- Experience working graphical user interfaces (GUI) (highly desirable)
- Experience in software testing and commissioning roles.
- PLC/SCADA system architecture knowledge
- Understanding of software development life-cycle methodologies.
- Professional proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
