Testing Designer

Would you like to work in an international organization and have a role in testing? Are you targeting to become a testing professional?
Landis+Gyr EMEA R&D is looking for a Testing Designer to join the Solution Integration Testing (SIT) team in Finland from August 2024 onwards. The team works in an international environment and collaborates closely with colleagues around the world. Together with the team, you will design and execute various types of automated and manual tests, ensuring that our end-to-end solution meets the requirements and the customers’ expectations.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Testing Designer you will be working amongst experienced professionals and have a variety of different software testing tasks. The main tasks of the role include:

• designing and executing customer use case based end-to-end test cases
• working with development teams to resolve software defects
• collaboration with other R&D departments and product management
• documenting test results

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED

• curiosity and motivation to learn
• understanding of software testing
• knowledge of Robot Framework and Python scripting
• good communication skills
• English language skills (Finnish skills are beneficiary)
