We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a TFX Solutions Specialist, APAC - Global Banking & Markets (6 months contract) .

Principal Responsibilities

  • Work with the existing regional and global Transactional FX (TFX) team to effectively execute a growth strategy in Transactional FX volumes across the APAC region. Driving volume, profitability and strategy awareness through client acquisition, marketing, and relationship management (internal & external) efforts
  • Interface with and be the TFX subject matter expert to key product stakeholders within Global Banking, Commercial Banking and Global Payments Solutions (GPS) to drive product awareness and build a healthy client pipeline
  • Assist with on-boarding efforts for mandated TFX opportunities in the region
  • Sales specialist for TFX related client interaction in the APAC region
  • Grow Transactional FX volumes across the region
  • Help to define and provide input the regional sales strategy for transactional FX in the APAC
  • Drive internal stakeholder product awareness of TFX solutions to generate internally lead client acquisition
  • Work with existing GPS & GFX sales teams, originate new TFX client relationships and increase market share
  • Help to achieve increased wallet share and client satisfaction for existing TFX client relationships
  • Coordinate with global counterparts to ensure strategy is synergised and effectively executed across the region
  • Ensure delivery of a cohesive, market leading service to clients providing feedback to TFX product development
  • Promote an entrepreneurial, client lead approach within stakeholder groups

Requirements

  • Comfortable in a start-up environment, pragmatic, proactive, entrepreneurial
  • FX experience within the APAC region, ideally across multiple industry segments
  • Experience within a multi-stakeholder, multi-buying group sales environment
  • Experience of successfully building and managing an effective client pipeline leading to client acquisition
  • Knowledge of the Transactional FX market, applicable solutions and related industry contacts
  • Knowledge of the payments landscape ideally within the APAC region
  • Knowledge of the contractual legal processes / comfort with the interface between legal and commercial functions
  • Experience working closely with sales and support teams
  • Working knowledge of technology solutions, particularly the link between system and business value delivery
  • Experience within regional arm of global business
  • Some understanding of local and global regulatory environment

The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
