Description:
The 4*Gleneagle INEC Arena has an exciting vacancy for a Production Manager. This role will be responsible for planning and overseeing all aspects of live event production for both entertainment and corporate events in the Gleneagle INEC Arena, INEC Club, Ballroom and MOD suite of meeting rooms. Working with a highly professional team of bookers, sales and technical team, the Production Manager will ensure the smooth operation of all events.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven experience as a Production Manager or in a similar role within the live music, entertainment and or corporate and MICE industry.
Extensive knowledge of live sound, lighting, video, and staging equipment.
Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, as required by event schedules.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to live events.
Proficiency with production management software and tools.
A degree in a related field (e.g., Audio Engineering, Event Management) is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
Planning: Working with the INEC Technical team; plan and execute all technical and logistical aspects of live events, both corporate and entertainment, across all three venues (INEC ACOUSTIC CLUB, BALLROOM) including coordinating with corporate production managers, artists, tour managers, and touring personnel to understand and meet technical requirements, oversee setup, operation, and breakdown of all production elements, including sound, lighting, staging, and video.
Communication: Act as main point of contact for clients, and relaying relevant information to the tech team in a timely manner to ensure delivery of client requirements.
Financial management: Work with both entertainment and corporate sales teams to maximise rental of inhouse equipment to exceed client expectations, deliver financial targets and delivery efficacies in working for the team.
Health & Safety / standards: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times, conduct pre-event checks and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise during events.
Other: Maintain and manage inventory of production equipment, stay updated with industry trends and technologies to keep the venue’s production capabilities current.
