In order to support our rapidly growing population, we’re growing our services and the complexity of our organisation. This includes adding a new $115 million hospital expansion and renovated facilities to ensure we meet the increasing health care needs of our region.
Position Summary
BCH is in an exciting phase of development and expansion, inclusive of a fully integrated state-of-the-art theatre complex. Comprising of three operating suites and one procedure room which is operational 5 days per week. We are a 24/7 service that includes obstetric emergencies.
This position is looking for someone with experience in the theatre technician role and proven ability to work in a team environment. BCH are looking for permananet part-time applicants 64 hours per fortnight or applicants looking to join our casual bank of theatre techncians.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

• Certificate III in Operating Theatre Technician Support or equivalent, or working towards.
• Minimum 1 years theatre technician experience desirable
• Availability to work varied shifts
• Orthopaedic experience highly desirable
• Valid Police Check

• Working with Children Check
• COVID-19 Vaccination in accordance with the Chief Health officer COVID-19 Mandatory vaccination Directions
• Flu Vaccination
