Responsibilities:

The Theatre Technician Grade 3 works in a multi-disciplinary team to provide safe and appropriate patient care.
Working in a team environment, they are accountable for the provision of care, in line with relevant standards, guidelines and policies of peninsula health.
The Theatre Technician works under the direct or indirect supervision of the Theatre Technician Manager, Nurse Manager and ANUM.
This position involves a flexible and varied work environment fostering professionalism, cooperation, adaptability and a team player commitment.
The Key responsibilities are:
Ensure that all aspects of OH&S, Infection control principles are adhered to.
You will Maintain equipment that is required for Surgery.
You will prepare and maintain the Operating room and to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
You will contribute to an environment of multidisciplinary teamwork, maintaining a flexible approach to working in all operating rooms.
