We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic theatre technicians to join our established team at Werribee Mercy Hospital - Operating Theatre. Located in the Catherine McAuley building, the 6-suite complex is a modern suite with natural light; supporting the growing needs of the Wyndham Community.

  • Permanent full time &/or part-time position(s) available.
  • The successful applicant(s) will be responsible for patient positioning and maintain all equipment requirements within the operating room.
  • Additional duties will include tasks which support the department and service delivery; such as cleaning, restocking and theatre patient transport, when required.
  • Working as a member of a multidisciplinary team, the successful applicant(s) will be required to provide a highly responsive and flexible service to patients and their carers.
  • Hours of work are based on a 7day roster with full shift requirements which will include an on-call component. Shift lengths are generally 10 hours to support weekday elective sessions
