What you’ll do
- Conduct planning CT scans according to local protocols, ensuring scans are acquired safely and within guidelines
- Lead the team in your designated area and manage the workload effectively
- Take responsibility for training and educating rotational radiographers, new members of staff and students
- Work closely with the pre-treatment advanced practitioner to assist in all aspects of pre-treatment, including technique development and day to day running of the units.
What we’re looking for
- Knowledge and understanding of the radiotherapy pathway and the importance of pre-treatment within that pathway
- Treatment and pre-treatment experience as a band 5 or 6 radiographer
- Ability to work flexibly and dynamically as part of a larger team
- Excellent communication and team work
