Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time generic therapy technician to joint the inpatient rehabilitation team at Ysbyty Cwm Rhondda. The generic role is split between Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. The main purpose of this role is for active rehabilitation as well as discharge planning.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled individual to join our established Increased Access to Rehabilitation Service (IARS) based in Ysbyty Cwm Rhondda.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills within the fields of both Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy and combine these to provide a joined up approach to rehabilitation. Your day to day role will encompass working with a delegated set of patients from within the stroke and medical rehab teams

To ensure that our patients have the most appropriate access to rehabilitation the role requires some weekend working on a Rota basis.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
