Description:
Responsibilities:
- Opportunity to work directly with families, experiencing complex challenges, including their wider networks. This is a new approach, working flexibly to deliver more coordinated, more effective support to families.
- You will enter a uniquely cross-Council role and work closely with colleagues in Housing, Adults’ and Children’s Services. You will co-ordinate with practitioners and service leads across RBWM to unblock issues and support the resilience of whole households; and report into a new ‘Gold Framework Board’ on plans and issue resolutions.
- This role is at the heart of a broader transformation programme. You will also contribute to the development of a ‘Think Family’ approach, will be encouraged to work innovatively, and to develop effective partnerships across and outside the organisation (notably with RBWM’s strong VCSE sector).
- This is a 1-year pilot project – trialing a new cross-service escalation pathway with ‘response’ and ‘recovery’ phases. You will lead on household assessments, co-ordination of cases, tracking outcomes, and contributing to the learning and evaluation of this pilot: which will be adopted as BAU providing the impact can be demonstrated
