About You

  • Proven experience in Third-Party Risk Management and Governance, with 5+ years’ experience working on Outsourcing, TPRM, or in a Supplier/Vendor management role in a regulated environment, preferably within the Finance Industry. Advantageous to have an understanding of the Health insurance market, key competitors, and trends.
  • 5+ years’ experience directing internal stakeholders on Supplier onboarding and continual due diligence and governance requirements.
  • Third level business degree or within a relevant discipline.
  • Strong understanding of regulated CBI guidelines to outsourcing and TPR.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to design and implement governance frameworks and control programs.
  • Strong analytical and qualitative analysis skills.
  • Strong understanding of CBI Guidelines on Outsourcing, EIOPA guidelines on Cloud Outsourcing, and AXA Group Standards.
  • Understanding of how to drive and deliver transformative projects, driving new ways of working, design thinking, agile and lean methodologies, and Business Change.
  • Ability to provide direction to executives, outsourcing and TP Risk senior executives, and internal departments at all levels.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, to act with integrity, and support mitigation of TP Risk

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Outsourcing Governance in compliance with the AXA Ireland Outsourcing & Third arty Risk (O&TPR) policy and ensuring adherence to CBI and AXA Group requirements. What you’ll be doing:

  • Oversee the governance and compliance of the O&TPR Policy to ensure AXA Ireland Health business is compliant with CBI and AXA Group requirements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on outsourcing and TPR, providing expert guidance during the ongoing management of health outsourcing arrangements.
  • Execute and implement Governance and Oversight control programme through the Outsourcing Committee and Vendor Risk Committee.
  • Participate in planned audits in coordination with the Head of Health Relationships.
  • Design standardised governance templates and toolkits and embed them across the business to ensure a consistent and robust level of governance is maintained.
  • Develop “governance” specific KPIs to inform MI reporting on policy compliance.
  • Perform qualitative analysis of governance meetings and execute “thematic reviews” based on findings.
  • Deliver training to ensure understanding and effective implementation of the outsourcing framework.
  • Maintain the Outsourcing Policy and governance framework for AXA Ireland, ensuring compliance with CBI and AXA Group requirements, and the changing outsourcing landscape along with meeting changes in regulatory requirements.
  • Represent AXA Insurance DAC at any AXA Group outsourcing forums and committees, contributing to the strategy and direction of these bodies.
