JR42425 Thought Leadership Program Manager, Asia
Micron Technology is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Thought Leadership Program Manager, Asia. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the government and public affairs country teams in shaping the company’s corporate positions, identifying strategic opportunities to amplify the company’s leadership and brand that reaches key government stakeholders and lead the plans and actions for public policy and thought leadership initiatives and programs for the region. Your responsibilities will include identifying and enabling effective communication of the company’s public policy positions and managing thought leadership programs to enhance industry presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Public Policy Development: Develop plans and materials for the purpose of amplifying and communicating the company’s public policy positions in alignment with organizational goals and values
  • Policy advocacy: Work in alignment with global team to support country government & public affairs team to advance policy advocacy to targeted external stakeholders, including government agencies, industry associations, and the public, to convey the company’s public policy positions effectively
  • Thought Leadership: Working across the organization and subject matter experts to develop and execute thought leadership programs that showcase the company’s expertise and contributions in relevant areas, positioning the organization as an industry leader
  • Advocacy Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop advocacy strategies and key issues strategy that support the company’s policy objectives and business goals
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of relevant legislative and regulatory developments, ensuring the company’s compliance and proactive engagements in relevant policy discussions
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work in coordination with global and country government and public affairs team to cultivate and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders for the purposes of identifying opportunities and implementation of programs for thought leadership, including government officials, industry leaders, and advocacy groups
  • Communication Materials: Create persuasive communication materials, including whitepapers, press releases, speeches, and op-eds to convey the company’s policy positions and thought leadership initiatives
  • Public Affairs Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators to assess the impact of public affairs efforts and adjust strategies accordingly

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs, Public Policy, Government Affairs, Political Science, or a related field.
  • 5-6 years of professional experience in public & government affairs, with a strong track record of success
  • Exceptional communication and advocacy skills, with the ability to convey complex policy issues to diverse audience
  • Demonstrated experience in thought leadership program management and strong organizational s
  • Strong analytical & research skills to stay informed about relevant policy developments
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building abilities
  • Proven ability to work independently and strong team work culture
