YOUR SKILLS & ABILITIES (REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS)

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of engineering or manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of GMS principles and concepts that can be applied to throughput requirements.
• High level of communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to make contributions to the resolution of complex manufacturing problems.
• Ability to meet deadlines while keeping organized amidst varying projects and multi-plant assignments.
• High level of analytical ability where problems are complex.

WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS)

• Experience in either Vehicle or GPS manufacturing facilities
• Experience with the Throughput Improvement Process (TIP), methods and tools
• Experience applying Theory of Constraints to improve manufacturing processes.
• Experience with discrete event simulation software
• Experience writing code in VBA or Plant Simulation
• Experience with statistics.
