Description:

Stealth Monitoring is a rapidly growing security firm headquartered in Dallas, TX. As part of our national expansion, Stealth is hiring a Field Service Professional for the Mobile market.

The core responsibilities of the Field Service Tech II include:

  • Maintaining and Troubleshooting

o Analog and IP based CCTV Systems
o Access Control Systems
o Intrusion Detection Systems
The Tier II Technician/Installer will be part of the team to drive the success of the region by working cross-functionally with customer success, internal and external IT groups, customers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects and service initiatives to maintain system uptimes.

Success for the Tier II role is measured by:

  • Meeting customer needs and addressing customer service issues promptly
  • Proactively communicating with customers and team members
  • Overseeing subcontractors on service projects and new installations
  • A positive and collaborative style

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School or GED required. Additional formal training and certifications in related fields a strong plus
  • Two plus years ‘experience in the execution of large, complex IP Video Surveillance, Access Control, and Intrusion Systems in a commercial and industrial setting.
  • Intermediate knowledge of computer networks, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Gateways, routers, switches.
  • Intermediate knowledge in the use and applications of Access Control, Intrusion and Video Systems.
  • Intermediate knowledge in the deployment of large, complex IP Video Surveillance Systems.
  • Working knowledge of electronic and digital test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and digital cable analyzers.
  • Basic understanding of Network concepts and architectures.
  • Extended knowledge of DOS and Windows.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational/product manuals.
  • Ability to work overtime, alternate shifts, weekends and take on call to meet customer requirements.
  • A+ Certification and Microsoft certification a plus.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all licenses required by national, state, and local codes.

COMPUTER SKILL:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have Intermediate level of proficiency for Microsoft products and be proficient on various Security Management Software platforms.
**Candidate must have a clean driving record; pass a background investigation - no criminal records. Must be in good health and able to work in both office and outside environments. Ability to lift equipment and tools up to 50lbs. Able to perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment, working above ceilings etc.

Responsibilities:

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Tier II Technician / Installer will provide support and guidance for other Field Service technicians.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Repair, replace and maintain low-voltage equipment at customer locations:

  • IP and analog cameras (Axis, Avigilon, Geovision, Hikvision, etc..)
  • Video management software (Luxriot, Avigilon, Geovision, etc…)
  • Windows based DVR/ NVR hardware
  • Access Control Systems (Feenics, etc..)
  • Intrusion Systems (DMP, etc..)
  • Audio systems and amplifiers (Axis, Barix SIP devices, etc..)
  • Switches, Routers, Power supplies, Power Distribution Units, UPS systems
  • Cat5 / BNC cable termination (Compression and Crimp)
  • Integrating equipment onto customer and company proprietary networks
  • Wireless access point equipment (Ubiquiti, etc..)
  • Maintain accurate inventory and document field activities
