Governance and Experience is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only users, but also sellers and creators. We value user satisfaction and work on policies, rules and systems to ensure quality. We are seeking an experienced and visionary individual to join our team as the Traffic Ecosystem Governance Lead. The role will be responsible for building our governance ecosystem that reliably empowers and supports our traffic control strategies across all of our traffic channels including Shoptab, Campaigns, ShopAds, Affiliate Marketing, Video and Lives. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in the US Ecommerce space as a leader with strong decision-making skills, and strong collaboration with product teams to build tools and processes that monitor, identify, and provide solutions for continuous improvement to our traffic governance strategies.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a centralized system for all traffic strategies across all traffic channels and cross-functional teams
  • Build and manage an efficient escalations process that tracks, assigns, prioritizes, and delivers results back to key stakeholders
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams such as Product, Search & Recommendation, Algo, and Moderation to build solutions and tools that support our operational requirements to effectively manage all traffic governance strategies
  • Owns the process that audits, monitors and continuously improves the accuracy of our traffic strategies that minimizes both false positives and negatives
  • Collaborates within our governance and experience department to support new category launches that empower healthy business growth
  • Monitor feedback and user perception, continuously improving the experience on all traffic channels to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Stay updated on e-commerce compliance standards and industry best practices
  • Partner with data analytics and science teams to complete root cause analysis and identify improvement areas in our traffic strategies that drive high impact to user trust metrics such as NPS, customer reviews, complaint rates

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of product or program management experience in Ecommerce, specifically in the US region
  • Experience understanding consumer and shopping habits and developing governance and experience strategies & operational systems aligned with business objectives
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MBA Degree preferred
  • Proven ability to make quick and effective decisions based on extensive experience
  • Experience building product merchandising strategies via structured data, search relevancy, and customized curation
    Job Information
    The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $139650 - $256500 annually.

    Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
