Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Seeking a Sales Representative with building industry experience. Must have an eye for aesthetics, design appreciation, and excellent communication skills. Play a crucial role in driving sales, building client relationships, and contributing to their success.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Sales Experience: Proven experience in sales within the building industry.
· Self-Motivated and Proactive: Ability to work independently and drive sales.
· Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of technical aspects related to tiles.
· Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships.
· Problem-Solving Abilities: Capacity to identify client needs and propose solutions.
· Computer Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
· Own Vehicle: Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
· Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the building industry.
Responsibilities:
Client Communication and Project Refinement:
· Engage with clients to refine project requirements.
Market Research and Supplier Identification:
· Identify potential suppliers within project requirements.
Product Presentation and Coordination:
· Compile product lists for projects.
· Coordinate with sales coordinator for costing and samples.
Sales and Client Relations:
· Develop relationships with key stakeholders.
· Prospect new clients and identify growth opportunities.
· Provide expert product knowledge and design solutions.
Sales Administration:
· Process quotations and perform sales tasks as needed.
Technical Expertise:
· Discuss tile detailing with clients.
· Work out sales prices based on costs and margins.
Architectural Plan Interpretation:
· Interpret plans and recommend tile solutions.
Networking and Customer Acquisition:
· Utilize network to acquire customers.
Sales Presentations and Negotiations:
· Prepare and deliver compelling presentations.
· Negotiate pricing and contracts.
Industry Knowledge and Networking:
· Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
· Attend industry events and trade shows.
Administrative Tasks and Record-Keeping:
· Maintain accurate records using CRM software
