POSITION OVERVIEW:

Courtesy Chevrolet, a Courtesy Automotive Group dealership, is seeking a Title Clerk to join our team. The Title Clerk plays a crucial role in our organization by managing and processing vehicle titles accurately and efficiently. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of title regulations and procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in a title clerk or similar role preferred.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle title regulations and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and title management software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities:

  • Process vehicle title transfers, including but not limited to completing title applications, verifying ownership documentation, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Review and verify accuracy of title documents, ensuring all necessary information is complete and correct.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies to resolve title-related issues and discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all title transactions, including digital and physical files.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to provide status updates and address inquiries related to title processing.
  • Stay informed about changes in title laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and accuracy in title processing procedures.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks and projects as needed.
